Why AVL
Wool-blend trousers with a drawstring waist shouldn't exist — and yet here we are.
The full elastic waistband is finished with two rows of stitching 5/8" apart, giving it the structure of a tailored waist without the rigidity.
Inside, the front fly is bound in a custom saddle brown binding — a detail you'll never see but will always feel. The interior construction is entirely overlock-free: every seam is clean-finished, every stitch intentional.
This is what separates a garment from clothing.

Fit
Each AVL piece is custom fitted. We recommend sizing up for a looser feel.

Care
Dry cleaning is recommended. Alternatively, machine wash cold at 30°C on a gentle cycle using wool detergent. We tested it does not shrink.
Line dry in the shade. Do not bleach or tumble dry. Cool iron if needed, up to 110°C.
